Farewell to a house full of memories
Leaving a house behind sometimes means saying farewell to rooms that witnessed very many phases of life. A song can walk through those spaces and preserve what happened, without pretending the memories are handed in with the last key.
Through the empty rooms one more time
On the wall the outline shows where a cupboard stood, in the hall sits a scratch everyone knows. The empty space makes sounds of before almost audible: breakfast, visitors, haste on a school day. Choose a few rooms and memories, so the house becomes recognisable without singing a complete inventory.
Which house is being left, after how many years and for which reason? Tell us about rooms, fixed spots and people who belong to it; which memory must remain, and how heavy may the farewell feel?
