Emigrating to another country
Emigrating means not only living further away, but also learning to arrange ordinary days again. A song can connect the tension of departure with new habits, while the bond with people and places from before may simply keep existing.
A new address, different daily words
The first groceries take extra time, an unknown form lies on the table and at home a trusted dish is sought. Choose the details that belong to this emigration. The story doesn't have to make a choice between two countries: enthusiasm about the new and missing the old can exist at the same time.
From which country to which country is someone moving, with whom and why? Share departure date, first impressions and important people staying behind; which language, habits or practical bumps colour the new daily life?
