Holidays and annual celebrations
Annual celebrations get colour from the people and customs that belong to them. A song can connect with a holiday from your tradition, with attention for its meaning and for the way you actually spend that day.
The preparation that returns every year
A box is fetched from the attic, a recipe looked up or discussed who receives the family this year. In such preparations traditions come to life. A song can follow one returning gesture and give room to the different generations at the table, without assuming everyone believes the same or celebrates a holiday the same way.
Which holiday or tradition do you celebrate and with whom? Which customs, dishes, languages or symbols belong to it for you, and which religious or cultural meaning must be rendered carefully?
