Carnival
Carnival has different names, rituals and local sensitivities everywhere. A song can connect with your association, town or group of friends, with words the revellers recognise and a joke that stays understandable outside the preparation room too.
From fitting the outfit to the parade
In a shed work on a float continues, someone looks for a missing costume part and the parade route lies on the table. That shared groundwork often yields the best leads. The lyrics can connect local names, a yearly theme and the quirks of the group, without attributing the same customs or sayings to every carnival town.
For which town, association or group is the carnival song? What is the yearly theme, which local names or dialect words must be right and which jokes are festive without making others a target?
