Song for a choir or gathering
Singing together doesn't always ask for many words, but it does ask for words in which the group can land. A song for a choir or gathering can carry a shared theme and take into account the people singing it.
Where the voices come together
Sheet music is opened, someone gives the lead-in and after a few bars the group finds the same breath. Choose a text form that suits these singers and this gathering. A returning line can give participants a hold, while the verses make room for the substantive theme of the get-together.
For which choir or gathering is the song, and what is the theme? Share the line-up, experience and desired participation of those present; are there existing texts or liturgical moments to connect with?
